Party party, no more student loan!

So the party was good. I kept my image of being the party-type. Sadly we had to leave after 2 in the morning because the party was like 60 km from our house and the other people from that direction were tired. So as not wanting to pay 100 euro for the cab alone, we left with the group of tired people. Might have been a good idea, since my love was sort of wasted. Well, we made it home alright. I paid for the cab in the end, but everyone had already paid their share today. Which is quite nice, since the cabfare has not been taken from my account yet. I could tell you more, but we'll save the best bits for X-mas family chats. ;)
I did something outrageous today... I paid off my student loans. The interest was rising like every month so I got bored of it. Now I have a relationship loan from my love. No interest there. (haa, you could read that so wrong...) It's not going to take me long to repay Jaakko though. I'm going to get a raise after I get my official diploma. So more money coming in. I'll be earning more than Jaakko.... :) Of course I still have to pay back my student allowances from the beginnign of this year. Damn those earning limits! But I guess I can afford to pay them back. It just angers me that I did not have time to take all that free money from the government. I think they should just give the rest of the months as a lump sum. That would surely make people graduate faster. ;) Maybe I should start a movement for this...
I'm so looking forwards to X-mas. The whole family together again. Loads of board games, perhaps some new ones as well... And cheeses. And all those X-mas foods.
There's a party tonight we are going to. It was supposed to be a "wear a suit" kinda thing, but I guess some people didn't like the idea and now I just have to wear jeans and not my lovely dress. It will be fine though. I like my jeans as much.
Then the Independence Day. I get to look at dresses all night on the TV at the castle ball. :) I don't think Jaakko is all that excited about it, since we haven't gotten invites to go anywhere and we will just be spending the night at home watching it. Well first we'll have to clean the aquariums and the apartment again. Seems like all we have time for at home is cleaning. And it's still always a mess. We're trying anyhow...
Back to work.

Congrats again! On the student loan thing. I'm all for the lump sum on graduation thing. We did sort of discuss that in LUOVA once or twice. I don't remember why it was not a good idea. Or maybe it is just that it would not save money which is sort of what the government is trying to do by making people graduate faster. But it would not help me any more since I probably will use all my "free" money from the government. I have 6 months left.

Independence day. I think it will me no different for me. Wednesday -> climbing.

free money? no such thing, it's all paid by the hard work of tax payers (you must have know i'd come out and say that..hehe).

Sounds like you had fun at the party, kinda feeling sorry that I didn't go to my workthingy. Naah no I'm not, it's the start of the month and too much work to be distant offbeat (like hangover, but without the nausea+etc). Anyway I'm really looking forward to xmas too, should be fun to kick back a bit and enjoy the arguing and relaxing with the family ;)

Student loan paid off? wow. I'm guessing you didn't have as much as I did ;D (and you propably didn't buy 3 cars, one each year with it either..lol).

So now that you're financially married, when's the time for the Church kind? :O (you must have heard that one before, at least from mom at home.. heheheh)

Ok, i'm drifting off to sleep soon, maybe write an entry into my blog and then go home and celebrate independence day with relaxation and doing absolutely nothing.. :)

I call it free money, since ti would sort of be like getting back all the taxes I've paid. I think I've given the government more than they've given me and that is not cool at this age as my salary is just going up...
I really only took student loans to travel. Two every year. ;)
Financially married we've been since the time when I borrowed Jaakko money a couple of years ago. You'll have to ask Jaakko about popping the question. No hurry. I kinda like this "living in sin" thing. ;)

Oh no. I can't make it to your graduation/b-day party. I'll be in Ireland. Though it would be sort of weird being at your party when I've got my birthday too and then if it was not only your party then it could not be a graduation party since I would not be graduated. And thus maybe it is sort of good that I can't come. Or not like that but anyways. I hope this makes sense.
