Pre-christmas party today

Yup, X-mas is nearing and today is the big work pre-christmas party. Most of us young people are going. It's gonig to be quite interesting because this is one of many dates that the company is throwing these parties. In a company of like thousands, not everyone can fit into just one place at one time. So we might end up chatting to some firemen or process guys if we wander far from our own table. Hopefully there are not assigned seats. I'd be sure to be stuck between the biggest bosses not being able to drink or talk during the whole night thinking I'd say something wrong. But I guess that's the point of a pre-x-mas party to drink too much, say stupid things to your bosses and wind up going home with someone at the party. The last is luckily guaranteed because to some weird reason they wanted avecs there too. So Jaakko is coming. I suppose they think people will drink less with the ball and chain at the party. They forgot to realize this is not the case with most young folks. We drink more. Cause we always have the other person to walk home with. and no fear of hitting on someone horrible whilst out of our minds.
Should be good then. Plus I get to wear my new party dress, and green shoes and the perfectly matching green bag. Gotta love them.
So still at work. My simulation is taking way too long. But it is looking hopeful though, under a hundred variables that havent converged yet. It's been like 3 hours...
Went shopping for presents yesterday. How am I supposed to know what other people like? Really difficult. I end up buying stuff I like that I think everyone else will like. And then everyone gets green presents. Luckily some presents are easy to buy. The neighbours just told us they want a toaster. Of course we had already gotten them other presents so this year they're getting loads of presents. (hope they don't read this) Yes, we are quite early with this. ;)
